The brief was very clear but not too prescriptive, giving unambiguous requirements. The standard of work entered was variable, but about thirty per cent was worthy of discussion and ten per cent worthy of publication. It was an excellent shortlist and a good final selection… the winning work stood out for its originality, ingenuity and practicality.
