Fredrik Nordbeck, Co-founder and Director of Foreign Office Design Ltd, is a Film and Animation Director with 10 years’ experience working in the advertising, broadcast and feature film business. Specialising in title sequences and branding, his recent animation director’s credits include Harry Potter 5 and 6, Children of Men, Discovery Channel and The Shock Doctrine.
He plays keyboards in up-and-coming rock band Cyclones.

A great, important brief. Very difficult to solve… about twenty-five per cent stood out as pretty well done, nicely finished. There were not many good ideas, but the brief was admittedly difficult. What made the winning pieces stand out was the writing, humour in the specific, and a strong visual idea that was well shot – in the case of the 'string theory' piece.
