The Juries

Mike Eggers -
EHS Brann

Mike began his career as a Copywriter at McCann-Erickson Seattle, working on a host of regional clients and on national campaigns for Coca-Cola and Washington Mutual Bank.

Prior to moving to London in 2006, Mike had spent several years working as a CD at one of the West Coast's largest independently-owned integrated agencies, HL2. While there, Mike led through-the-line campaigns for Vail Ski Resort and Seattle's Best Coffee, as well as B2B campaigns for Microsoft and Holland America Cruise Lines.

Since joining EHS Brann London in 2007, his client roster has included Sky, NS&I, the COI, News International and Barclays’ retail, local business and wealth divisions.

Comments

A nicely balanced brief – a mix of conventional skills such as naming, branding and typography, and the emerging trends of social networking, wireless retail and loyalty schemes. In the work entered there were pockets of brilliance. The good news is that most pieces had at least one charming / intriguing thought. But that’s also the not so good news. The winning work nailed every bit of the brief and featured some really surprising thoughts. I loved the banners that played on logos and first names.
